Welder Qualifications
Welder Qualifications Advex welders are qualified
by testing a welder's ability to weld with a filler
metal to a WPS. Advex's welding program is designed
to meet welding specifications specifically used
by a job or generally specified by the company.
This includes, but is not limited to, the maintenance
of qualifications, visual (eye) examinations, as
well as on-goin workmanship training. Advex extends
its' welder training program to independent welders
and welders working for other manufacturing firms.
Welding Procedure Specification
(WPS)
All of Advex's welders must be WPS qualified to
weld in accordance with the specified welding process.
This qualification consists of the weld process
itself, the metals to be used, and the application
required. WPS qualifications are performed in-house
and are approved by the the customer and/or by the
inspection process dictated by the customer.
