Attaching a "Force Inducer" to a structural member to be welded at the 8' high temperature test facility at NASA LARC. The Force Inducer is a part of a vibratory stress-relieving unit that vibrates a component at the sub harmonic level. When used during welding operations, this unit acts as a "weld conditioner" to create a more homogenous weld and virtually eliminate distortion caused by heat input and stress.
